Most students think that they need to apply through state counseling, which is incorrect.
If you are interested in any deemed college, you need to apply through MCC, not the state counseling. All deemed universities in India, including those in Pondicherry, are part of MCC’s All India Counseling process.

- Registration: You have to go to www.mcc.nic.in and register under the “Deemed University” category and pay the registration fee plus refundable security fees.
- Choice Filling & Locking: You need to fill and lock your preferred colleges.
- Seat Allotment: There are 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy, and MCC will allot a seat during these rounds.
- Reporting: You need to report to the allotted college if you want to take admission.
IMPORTANT Things You Must Know
- NEET Qualification is a must. NO NEET = NO ADMISSION. Do not trust those who claim to give you a seat without NEET. It’s a complete scam.
- Documentation should be proper. Every year, I see students lose out because they did not carry the right documents.
- Registering and attending MCC counseling is a must. Without registering and attending the counseling, you will not get a seat, no matter how ready you are to pay huge amounts later.
Documents Required for Admission
Keep the following documents ready, both originals and photocopies:
- NEET Admit Card.
- NEET Scorecard.
- Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets.
- Class 10 & 12 Passing Certificates.
- Transfer Certificate.
- Migration Certificate.
- Conduct Certificate.
- ID Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
- MCC Allotment Letter.
- Passport-size Photos – 10 nos.
- Caste Certificate (if applicable).
